Absolutely wonderful food, I had the standard breakfast and my fiancé had a cheese and onion panini and we shared the soup of the day and it was all absolutely divine. The guy running the place was lovely as well and the atmosphere was wonderful. Definitely recommend anyone to go, wish I could give more stars.

The food was ok but not really worth £21.30, bacon was well over cooked and so was the sausage. Music was a bit loud when trying to have a conversation, person behind the serving area struggled to smile and seemed more interested in taking the order and payment and not really helpful nor wanting to even speak.

I was in this village for one week camping. I had to urgently print one document and send back by post. A farmer , where we stayed , advised us to ask at coffee shop telling us that the owner is a nice guy who likes help the tourists. The farmer wasn't wrong. While waiting for printing my documents, we decided to eat the breakfast there. It was delicious. Tasty, fresh, generous portions of sandwiches as well generous cups of drinks. I can recommend this caffe bar to everyone. Thank you the owner for your selfless help and your kindness.

A lovely quirky café! Gluten and dairy free cakes available. Reasonable prices and great music. Sofa made from a bath is a nice touch😊

Wonderful local café. Staff were lovely, food was exceptional (try the roast beef bagel), fair prices & most importantly.. Great coffee. Also, we loved that this place is called 'Yam Frae Yam', which we've been told means 'Home from home' in Cumbrian dialect 😊

I really like the place. There is a free public parking around the corner. The interior is recently and rather tastefully refurbished. The staff is welcoming without abundance. The food is... ok and the prices are refreshingly reasonable. But I have to be honest, I am somewhat following my heart giving the place 5 stars, as there is some room for improvement. The food, albeit mostly really tasty and showing masterful flavour combinations, had some obvious (and easy to correct) drawbacks. Burger patties were great, but I did not quite like just-off-the-fridge cold buns. Sandwiches were really high quality and tastefully toasted, but a touch of garnish on a side would make the plate look ten times richer. Latte and cappuccino were just bad, sorry. Over-roasted beans and overheated milk -- had to save the drinks with sugar, which is a bad omen for milky coffees. Having said all that, I really enjoyed the visit and will be happy to visit again if I am nearby.

Me and my partner popped in on the off chance as we drove by from Seascale, and what a great decision. Amazing food, incredible service and gorgeous decor. We took our 6 month old pup in with us and she was happy as anything in the calm atmosphere inside. Will definitely be back if we ever pass again.
