Our group of 5 had a wonderful stay at Caroline's accommodation. The cottage is very well equipped inside and out. The location is excellent with a number of places to eat nearby and a local park. We walked to Seascale one day and had very tasty ice creams on the sea front. It is ideally located to get to the coast and to explore further afield with many towns and lakes only an hour's drive away. We visited Muncaster Castle which is only 10 mins down the road, the children loved hearing about the ghosts at the castle.

Lovely quirky comfy cottage in a great village, walkable distance to great pubs and restaurants, great walks nearby. If we return to this area in the future would not hesitate to book again !

Love this quirky cottage. I think it's the 4th time I've stayed here. Ideal for walks around Wasdale and Scarfell and around an hour from Windermere.
